Not Just A Kiss Parts 2 & 3
Oct. 19th, 2012 12:54 am The next steps of my WIP for
emmagrant01's Just a Kiss.

Part 2 had me ink the outline and erase most of the pencil marks. Things look okay so far, but the more color and detail I add, the more the problem areas stand out. I can see one here already that's frustrating me.

Part 3 beginning with color. I also gave Sherlock a nose, since it seemed part of it could be visible. John is supposed to have stubble, which is something I've never drawn before. I am sure there is a better way to represent this, and I'm not sure if I will continue to play with texture more. But any suggestions would be appreciated. I am also torn over John's pants. I am so tempted to make these into red pants just for the fun of it, but I don't know if it will be too ridiculous for the mood of this piece.
