Thanks for the heads up on how to turn my WIP drafts for my illustration for chapter one of A Cure for Boredom into an animated gif. Here it is from initial sketch to final draft in 10 stages (a little blurry because I inflated pixel size):

Step One -Moon over Comb the web for photos of Freeman and Cumberbatch, and begin loose sketch of who is sitting where.
Step Two - Fuss around with Sherlock's leg.
Step Three - Figure out what to do with leg. Sketch sofa.
Step Four - Slim down Sherlock, straighten his posture, comb his hair, and refine his side-eye. Also, add mysterious pile of tissues and John's shoes!
Step Five - Draw that tacky wallpaper and other details (like Sherlock's left hand).
Step Six - Trace lineart with pen and erase (sort of) pencil marks.
Step Seven - Unleash the crayons!
Step Eight - Color sofa, play with fabric, and begin on the blasted wallpaper.
Step Nine - Finish base color on wallpaper and everything else.
Step Ten - Turn out the lights!
