dickgloucester's Squeeful Saturday prompt - A mature Snape, looking thoughtful but not grumpy. I interpreted mature to mean older than I have ever drawn him, so I went ahead and turned his hair silver and found inspiration for the deeper lines and bags around his eyes from the amazing Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes (and I think he would have made a glorious Snape!) Here we see an older Severus, around 60, looking content as he reflects on his life and successes in his Headmaster's chair.

Date: 2012-02-21 05:45 am (UTC)This was all Dicky's idea - I'd never thought to do a white haired Snape, but he looks good like this, I think.
It is nice to see him looking satisfied. I always make the poor guy look so grumpy.
