This is a bit of an exaggeration as Snape only took 5 points for Hermione's hand-raising antics when he covered Lupin's class. BTW, I would like to inform the naughtier members of my flist that despite requests to the contrary, days 11, 12 and 13 will have nothing to do with the number of inches with which Snape is endowed! OMG!

Aww Hermione! I actually just read that very part last night in PoA and remembered how just how much more I like the book/canon characters over the movie characters. Your buck-toothed, frizzy haired Hermione beats Pink Power Ranger Emmamione any day. :B
