snapecase category 2, which called for stories and art depicting Severus from 11-20 years old. The day Severus took the Dark Mark, the young Death Eater was filled with pride, ambition and vindication. He had found acceptance among a group of powerful peers who appreciated his skills, saw beyond his appearance, and welcomed him despite his family limitations.

Date: 2012-02-20 01:51 am (UTC)You can also do this using a lighter shade of colored pencil over the original marker layer and then adding another marker layer on top of that if you're using a paper that works well with both media.
There are colorless blenders for markers but I've not had much success with them and prefer the above method.

Date: 2012-02-20 03:48 pm (UTC)I've found the effectiveness of the colorless blender varies depending on the particular colored pencil. I like how it works with some of the darker colors, but I've never used it in combination with marker.
