Notes: Based on a moment in Chapter 8 of BeautifulFiction's Midnight Blue Serenity. Gorgeous and harrowing casefic with beautifully erotic moments and a bestubbled, eyeliner-wearing Sherlock. It's for a case of course, and poor John didn't stand a chance. My first time drawing a guy with eyeliner, and my second attempt at stubble. Consider this a rec. Go read the fic.

ooooooof. That beard hair is delicious. The combination of the stubble and the eye make up is just SUPER NICE YUM YES PLEASE. The colours and the pencilly-ness of it (you can tell I am good at this art-critique thing, yes? :D) are very pleasing. And I like the contrast of the softer parts such as their skin and lips, and the bolder parts like Sherlock's hair and jewellery.

But mostly I'm all about that soft, beautiful beard. ♥ This is really mesmerising!

That was a lovely detail of the story (the stubble-grooming) that you've made particularly luscious here, and seeing Sherlock in eye makeup is just twelve different kinds of gorgeous. Thank you for this most eloquent of recs, and I sincerely hope the author is rendered as insensible as this has rendered me.
