A Cure Part 5

Thanks again for the feedback and encouragement on my WIP for emmagrant01's John/Sherlock fic, A Cure for Boredom. Here is the latest version, and possibly the last version of just the lineart that I'll upload unless I get a brilliant idea or some more amazing feedback.

Part 5 The primary addition was the wallpaper background which I did freehand. When I begin to color, the wallpaper not illuminated by the light of the computer screen may not even be visible at all, but I went ahead and traced out the placement of the design just in case. It's all quite messy, but I think that is in keeping with the rest of this piece (and my style) which is not very precise. I also finished Sherlock's left hand and added a tissue box just over his shoulder. I also tried doing some gentle crosshatching to delineate the shadows that John and Sherlock would cast, but it's not really visible here.

For the next stage, I'll go in and outline the major components with ink so I can erase all the false lines from the pencil. After that, I'll begin to color a bit, and that's when things will get really complicated. I'm hanging out on Getty Images and Deviant Art looks for good examples light and shadows cast by electronic devices in dark rooms.
