Sherlock Fanart, The Fall Parts 1 and 2

I've finally started on my next piece of Sherlock fanart, which is inspired by the events and themes of The Reichenbach Fall. This one is going to require me to stick closer to the visual source material and is going to push me to do something really different from what I normally do. It's also necessitating that I locate a bunch of good reference photos from the episode, and I'm finding that it's taking me a lot longer.

Here's how i started, with an outline. I spent several hours scouring google images for a good profile shot of Sherlock, but there really weren't any. However, I eventually settled on this because I think it's quite iconic for the character and might actually serve my purposes best.

Hopefully it's clear what I'm trying to do. I'm happy with the placement of these three components of the Fall, though I will flesh out the details better. My intent is to do all in black ink. I'm thinking of maybe just cross-hatching, but that still really far off. For now, I'm debating what other components to include and am looking for optimal references. Any advice on what you think should be included and where?

Awe.

*blushes*

We'll see how this turns out. It's one thing to have an idea in your head. It's another for it to come out okay on paper.

And I'm counting on your excellent reference sleuthing skills to help me like they did last time!

LOL! Awwww... Hmm, so you're looking to add more to this piece, as in other images? I don't know how "busy" or "collage-y" you want to make it, so...
Ideas:
John on the phone looking up at Sherlock on the roof
the word Believe
John back with his cane *sob*
a blank screen on John's blog, or the last post: http://www.johnwatsonblog.co.uk/blog/16ajune
their hands while they're in handcuffs--John holding onto Sherlock's coat cuff
the spray painted smiley face with the bulletholes from their sitting room

Of course, ANYTHING you decide to do will be brilliant and I will love you even harder for it, no matter what it is. :D

I'm def going to include the wallpaper in 221b with possibly the smiley face as it's so iconic and will be good for fleshing out some of the more oddly shaped parts.

I love the idea of John's last post. Just might do that.
