Title: An Ode to An Ode
Characters: Millicent Bulstrode, Viktor Krum

Notes: Drawn in response to femmequixotic's Ode to Broken Things for this year's HP Beholder exchange. The story really struck a chord with me and I was so drawn to Millicent's fierce individuality, self-awareness and vulnerability as well as the chemistry between her and Krum. There was just something so completely sexy and believable about this fic, and I found myself itching to draw this pair despite a big bang deadline looming over me. If I had had more time, I would have depicted one of their more intimate moments (which were amazing - go read the fic!), but it was challenge enough to try my hand at depicting these two for the first time.

Have you read "Seven Preposterous Things" by bloodcult? Fantastic Millicent in that story, the characterization is one of the best I've read.

Thanks Coz! Yes, it's pencil and marker. This one actually has a lot of marker in it - more than the usual.

Thank you, leochi. I really, really wanted to depict Millicent because her body type is so different from what I normally draw (shame on me!)

I really wanted to depict her in an exquisite moment of beauty, and I really wish I'd had more time to draw them in bed. *so hot* But the more naked a character is, the more careful I have to be with anatomy, and I just didn't have the time.

He came across really sexy in this fic. Kind of like fanon!Snape. It was hawt!
