Ehehehehe, awesome! Yes, I can totally see Severus being all grumblypants about the photos until Lily does something surprising to make him smile. And once he does smile, awwww, he's cuuute!! I've always thought Severus would be... well, never handsome by any stretch of the imagination, but kind of adorable in a weird way if he'd just quit scowling and sneering all the time. ;)

I think he's cute when he scowls and when he smiles. From what I could gather from Harry's visit through his memories, the poor boy clearly seemed to wear his emotions on his sleeve.

And I love the word grumblypants to describe his first expression. :D

Yeah, "heart on his sleeve" is exactly how I described teenage Severus to something a couple of days ago. So different from what he was/had to become as an adult! (Well, mostly. Adult Severus was certainly prone to violent and loud outbursts of anger, but that's a "safe" emotion to express...)

WELL! He IS a big grumblypants! ;P
