I've been wanting to do something like this for a long, long while. Finally had a chance to get to the lineart and need to get cracking on the coloring so I can get these cards out in time.

:D So much fun! I'm squinting trying to decipher Snape's card - I can see Sherlock got his book from John, but who is Snape's benefactor?!

(Either way I sort of feel like Snape would be happier with the Holmes books than Sherlock with the Harry Potter books, haha. "Magic, John? Really?!" "There is scientific method to it!" "I'm sure. *rolls eyes*")

Snape's card is a bit ambiguous. It merely says it's from "H", which means it could be from either Harry or Hermione, depending on what you ship.

I agree with you on Sherlock's lack of interest in the text. I see him reading it for one of 2 reasons: (a) to indulge or mock John who gave it to him for some reason, or (b) for a case. Perhaps there is a murderer who is recreating deaths from literary references. One looked suspiciously familiar to John but not Sherlock who doesn't read this stuff. Thus John purchased Sherlock a pile of popular fiction with the murders bookmarked...

This must be a fic somewhere.

The Snape/Hermione and Snarry contingent on my flist is a lot bigger than the Snagrid crew.

Hmmm... maybe I should do this. I still want to try writing smut. I love reading porn and I feel guilty for not producing any.
