dickgloucester's Squeeful Saturday prompt - A mature Snape, looking thoughtful but not grumpy. I interpreted mature to mean older than I have ever drawn him, so I went ahead and turned his hair silver and found inspiration for the deeper lines and bags around his eyes from the amazing Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes (and I think he would have made a glorious Snape!) Here we see an older Severus, around 60, looking content as he reflects on his life and successes in his Headmaster's chair.
( The once black hair had turned completely white but the dark gaze remained as penetrating as ever, even when lost in thought... )
